Can i start insurance on a new car with a new insurance provider before the current policy run out ?My current car insurance policy runs out at the end of the month and I will not be renewing with them. I am getting a new car approx 2 weeks before the expiry date. Can i start the insurance with another company and 'overlap' the insurance ?

I don’t understand why it’s o.k. to politicians that we die by being denied the healthcare we pay for with our insurance premiums. Less American workers equals less American taxes being paid to keep our politicians in those shiny suits on t.v. telling us what they think we want to hear. We are not blind we can see your “stimulus package” was a payback to the banks for making bankruptcy legal, but where are the jobs YOU said would be created from it?? People are starving and homeless!!

I have seen many people on here say that you are automatically covered when your parents have full coverage, including insurance agents. This is not true of all companies. Call your insurance carrier and ask. It is a lot easier than finding out after an accident that you are not covered.
I don't have it and I don't trust it…human insurance is bad enough with all the small print. My dog insurance is Master Card, it's the only "insurance" I'd recommend. It covers everything, literally! Good luck though if you feel you really must purchase insurance!

Progressive is good for motorcycles. my husband is insured thru them. It's his first bike but he's a bit older than you are. But anyway he pays $75 for a years worth.
