The worst place to buy remote control helicopters is the newspaper according to my past experience. In my childhood days and just exploring the classifieds part of the evening local newspaper, I always go through each and every article although I never really read any of that stuff. But once, I fell in love with one ad on a set of helicopters with remote control for sale and I felt like I had to have them. Though they were a bit expensive, I started saving some money in my piggy bank for it and I called up the person selling it and he accepted to save one set for me.With 2 whole days of tiring chores and saving money, I went walking to the seller’s place for the remote control helicopter I needed. Very much to my amazement, all the helicopters had been grossly disfigured by the seller.Let alone the nonfunctional part of it, the thing didn’t even resemble a helicopter anymore! It had turned out that the guy’s home had been burnt down and one of the many things he was able to sell was the set of helicopters and he was wishing he could sell that and a few other things to buy a new house or al the least rent one. Apparently, he hadn’t insured his house and there was nothing to get back from the burnt place. Well, the tale reached and touched my heart and also because I was a little kid, I hadn’t got to know about scammers, and I finally gave up all my precious money in return for 2 pieces of dump which I was sure would not fly and no even usable.
